Returns Policy
Here at African Products Australia we would like you to be 100% satisfied and will accept returns within 14 days from the date of purchase. The products must be in sellable condition and in their original packaging, except Wigs, Human and Synthetic Hair and Hair Extensions, they can only be returned for store credit or exchange.
We will not accept returns for used and opened items, unless it is defective or damaged. We reserve the right to refuse refunds on personal use products or food items for any reason.
Returns and exchanges can ONLY be authorised by us, so please confirm by emailing us at sales@africanpa.com.au how and where to return items prior to doing so.
We do not refund shipping charges.
Refund or credit will be issued within 30 days of your return being received.
Shipping charges are non-refundable, 30% Restocking Fee applies to all returns that are not part of the exchange policy, exchanges are Free except for shipping charges.
Right of refusal for the return or exchange of products is at the sole discretion of African Products Australia, except where the Trade Practices Act of Australia makes allowance.
Cancellation Policy
All order cancellations must be requested within 16 hours from being placed, otherwise an order cancellation charge of 15% will be applied. To request an order cancellation, contact us during business hours. Your order must be confirmed by Customer Service that it has not been shipped from our warehouse. Orders already shipped from our warehouse cannot be cancelled and will fall under the returns for refund policy.
For any shipments returned to us due to a bad address, refusal upon delivery there will be a 30% cancellation fee charged. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Why do we charge a cancellation fee?
Although we stock lots of different items, some of them may need to be special ordered from the manufacturer to fulfil your order. Our manufacturers do not allow us to return these items back to them, so in effect African Products Australia absorbs the full cost of the items in the case of a cancellation.
Therefore, to minimize these costs and maintain our standard of excellent prices, we charge a 15% cancellation fee.
